Escape from the Morons; for Video Game

Escape from the Morons; for Video Game

My son has been editing video game playbacks, putting video game clips against music. He loves the game “Escape from Tarkov”, and asked that I compose similar music.

Well, I certainly did not want to copy that music, but I was agreeable to a rough simulation of the style. This not really “my style”–it is much more repetitive that I usually care for. Also, toward the end, the music becomes a bit muddy, what I would call a “wall of sound”. This is intentional, as it is also a characteristic of the reference track.

Also, I did not want to copy the title, so I came up with another title, one that really is appropriate for this day and age. Everywhere we look, we see conspiracy theorists who are totally ignorant of what it means to live in a democratic nation. So, I gave this piece a title in their honor–or maybe in their dishonor.
