How were these Midi compositions made?
I use the following equipment and software to produce these Midi files:

Computer Platform: Dell Pentium with Windows XP
Sound Module/Synthesizer: Roland XV-5080.
Expansion cards for the XV-5080: Orchestral, Orchestral II, and Concert Piano.
Audio Card: M-Audio Audiophile 2496
Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster AWE-32
8MB GM Sound Font: EMU Systems
Midi Keyboard: Yamaha PSR-320
Sequencer Software: Cakewalk Pro Audio, Version 9
Notation Software: Sibelius
Sample Software: Akoustik Piano

Additional Useful Items:

Midi cable, used to connect the keyboard to the (joystick) port of the sound card
